My comment on the Poll below...

The poll below gives a slight view of what society in general actually thinks of the topic of whether or not the parent should spank the child. Many say yes; many say no.

Is the opinion more affected by how the person them-self was raised and how they turned out to be as as adult? Or is it because of society's view, how society misinterprets spanking as abuse? Or is it because of a religious thing?

It could be any or all and some not mentioned. But altogether, spanking is a highly debatable topic. And this is what this blog illustrates.
